Galaxy A5 (2018) SM-A530N Seemingly Confirmed On Samsung’s Website

Technology

We have been hearing that Samsung is working on a fresh model of its mid-ranger, the Samsung Galaxy A5. we suppose it’s not a stretch to think that Samsung might have a new model in the works, though thus far the reports are largely rumors. but it’s like Samsung themselves might have confirmed the phone.

In a tweet by Roland Quandt, it seems that Samsung Korea’s web site has a support page for a certain SM-A530. For those that don’t keep track of the model numbers of phones, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2015) had the model number SM-A500, while the 2016 model had the SM-A510 model number, and also the 2017 model had the model number SM-A520, so based on this pattern, it’s safe to say that the SM-A530 is perhaps in reference to the 2018 model.

Sadly, apart from the model number, the support page does not show us more than that. it means that in terms of specs and options, it’s still anyone’s guess. but given that it’s a mid-range, we’re probably looking at very normal specs with nothing to shout about. but there are rumors that have suggested the Galaxy A5 (2018) could have a infinity display like that of the Galaxy S8, S8+, and also the Note 8.

Whether or not that’s true remains to be seen, but it could be something of a game changer for Samsung’s mid-range lineup, and will also encourage different OEMs to improve their mid-range offerings.
